The Liquor Stores Association was recently invited by Perth Glory Football Club owners Lucy and Tony Sage to attend an A-League match against Melbourne Victory.
It was another opportunity to showcase the work of the Association and forge new relationships with a host of new prospective partners and sponsors.
LSA WA CEO Peter Peck said events like these are a great way to highlight the association’s lobbying and advocacy work.
“We’re a sporting nation and proud of it so everyone likes to socialise”.
“We look for synergies in industries and landscapes where we may not instinctively think there is common ground, but almost every time we will find that wherever we go someone has a story to tell which resonates with our members from a small business or membership perspective” he said.
“I’d like to thank Lucy and Tony Sage and the club’s CEO Tony Pignata for their hospitality and we hope to build on this new relationship with the Glory as the year rolls on” he added.
