Brydie and Andy share their stories on how they have had to navigate around the pandemic and report on the industry which has been severely affected and continues to be dented by COVID-19.
Both Brydie and Andy are experienced journalists and as you’ll hear have a great passion for the industry.
Andy made his start as a sports journalist with The Sun newspaper in the UK. Since then he’s worked in major newspaper and television newsrooms in both the UK and Australia. After moving back to Australia in 2014, Andy joined Intermedia as Editor of The Shout in 2015, writing news and features on a daily basis and is now Managing Editor of both The Shout and Bars and Clubs.
Brydie is the Editor of National Liquor News, Australia’s leading magazine for the off-premise sector. She began her career interning for several women’s focused publications, including Vogue and Mamamia, before an interest in bar culture lead her to Food and Beverage Media where she was a journalist for The Shout, Australian Hotelier, Bars and Clubs and National Liquor News.
